Leonard Beetle is a children's book character that enjoys himself in any situation and always looks at things in a positive light.

Leonard Beetle is the creation of Jodi Supino Elliott...the author of Leonard Beetle’s Sole Ride.  Jodi has a love for children and books.  She wanted to write a book with a character that was fun to read about, and that helped children have a positive attitude about life. 

There are many obstacles along life’s journey that can be easily handled with the right outlook.  This in turn will help children embrace these challenges positively which will automatically promote a great self image and ultimately happiness.  The story of Leonard Beetle illustrates this idea that life can be fun and exciting even when things don't go your way.  It is the choice of what you do and how you act that can make the difference in the outcome of any situation.

The Leonard Beetle character learned these valuable lessons from his grandfather, Walter Beetle.  Walter Beetle is actually named after Jodi's grandfather, Walter, who taught her the very same lessons.
